This place was great. The shots are exactly as described. You get a flavored shot, and it tastes exactly like the name. Neat to watch the projected games of Mario kart and super smash. Also they and a small outdoor area and some small snacks. Boiled peanuts

This is hands down my favorite bar! The staff are all super friendly. They have 2 video game consoles, 2 comfy leather sofas, and plenty of other arcade and board games. And they have so many great drinks!

Their cocktails are creative and well-made (shoutout to the "Pink Starburst" made by Morgan or Peyton!), and the beer selection is on point, with local brews alongside national favorites. Now, the food is where things get interesting. It's not fancy, but it hits the spot after a few rounds of Pac-Man. My favorite bar in downtown! Not only do they have a ton of games (including Mario Kart- my favorite), they have creative shots and cocktails. The pink starburst shot is the best shot! If you're looking for something fun, get the Capri Sun with rum in it!

The games are the first thing you notice, but the plethora of cocktails, snacks, and shots are what draws your eye next. As you ponder what to partake, a bartender warmly greets you. Treating your taste buds to a combination of delights is easy to do in this establishment. The space is inviting and the artwork clearly demonstrates the personal touches that come from a small business. If you're lucky enough to interact with the locals who frequent, you get the sense that the bar is not only a spot to rest and enjoy, but fosters the sense of community Athens is famous for.

Without a doubt, the best bar I’ve ever been to in my life. Great service. Great people. Great drinks. Heck, even great food. Games are free. Smash tournaments, Rock Paper Scissors tournaments, even a connect 4 championship. Whether you’re visiting, a native, or a college student, if you’ve never been to Wonderbar, you’re missing out on the Athens experience.

Wonderbar has been my go-to spot since moving to Athens! The specialty cocktails are always a hit—you have to try the Starburst shot. The place is packed with entertainment: video games, arcade games, table games, and theme nights! Also Wonderbar might just have the cleanest bathroom in all of downtown Athens. Whether you’re local or just visiting, Wonderbar is definitely worth checking out!

Wonderbar is a staple in Athens. I’ve loved coming here for years and thoroughly enjoy my experience each time. Depending on who is working you’ll have different music playing, but the vibes are always there! Mary is fast and efficient and always looking to help guests as they come to the bar, even when it’s slammed. Thanks for keeping Athens fun!

So much fun. I'm very electric and entertaining environment. Amazing customer service and friendly staff. Highly recommend! The snack food is amazing you can get boiled peanuts!
